WORK PERFORMED:

• Staffs the Circulation Desk as assigned – assisting patrons; check-in and check-out of items; create new library cards; etc.
• May assist with processing of materials
• Assists with management of hold items
• Answers phones

TYPICAL SCHEDULE:

• Wednesdays 3:00 – 8:00pm (5 hours)
• Thursdays 3:00 – 8:00pm (5 hours)
• Fridays 10am-1pm (3 hours)
• Saturdays and Sundays on rotation (6-9 hours)
• Book drop retrieval on summer Sundays and holidays on rotation

QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess excellent customer service skills & enjoy working with people

• Comfortable using computers
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Either have or be able to obtain PA Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, & FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• Able to stand for long periods of time

$8.25 an hour
