Brush Creek Trail and Trail Extension

To ensure the safest possible recreational environment, several protocols have been outlined for those using Community Park, Graham Park and North Boundary Park. The protocols align with yellow phase of Pennsylvania’s tiered re-opening plan and follow all federal, Commonwealth and CDC mandated guidelines.

Please note: Dogs are not permitted along Brush Creek Trail in Graham Park - but, they are allowed along the Trail Extension.

To reach the Brush Creek Trail Extension:

  • From Freedom Rd. turn south onto Commonwealth Dr.
  • Drive approximately a half mile.
  • Turn left at The Commons at Thorn Hill entrance on east side (Turnpike side) of the road.
  • Turn left at the first parking lot you come to, before the first building.
  • Park at the eastern most end of the parking lot and look for Trail signage.

Trail Etiquette

  • Share the trail.    
  • Pedestrians have the right of way.    
  • Wear a helmet.    
  • Bicyclists give audible signal before passing. 
  • Keep to the right, pass on the left. 
  • No motorized vehicles permitted on the trail.  
  • Place trash and recyclables in appropriate containers. 
  • Dogs are permitted only in the Rotary Dog Park (adjacent to Community Park) and on the Brush Creek Trail Extension.
