For hundreds of Township residents and visitors, the answer in recent months has been “wait outside in all weather.” That was the price to pay after the opening of Crumbl Cookies, as customers patiently lined up outside to get their sweets.
Crumbl features four specialty cookies each week, along with standard favorites warm chocolate chip and chilled sugar cookie. Cold milk and gourmet ice cream are also on the menu. Each cookie is mixed, baked, and prepared fresh in an open kitchen.
For Melinda Shaha, owner of the Cranberry location at 1691 Route 228 Suite E, that freshness, as well as a strong online buzz, are key components of the brand’s success.
Shaha, her husband Jake and their three children, are a military family, and upon learning they would be relocating to the Pittsburgh area, Melinda started looking for the best potential Crumbl location. Cranberry, she said, was the perfect spot.
“I looked around and felt like Cranberry was the place to be,” she said.
Specialty cookies change each week, with announcements made on Crumbl’s social media platforms. Some of the specialty cookies include Muddy Buddy, Biscoff Lava, Funfetti, Snickerdoodle, Coconut Lime, Chocolate Potato Chip, Hazelnut Sea Salt, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Rocky Road, S’Mores, and Pumpkin Pie.
Cookies can be ordered individually or in packs, with catering options available. Each order is packaged in the trademark pink Crumbl box.
Take a selfie of that purchased pink box and tag @crumblcookies at the Cranberry location.
