A Wexford-based entrepreneur is seeking conditional use approval to build a car wash on 1335 Old Freedom Road, currently home to Gary’s Automotive Maintenance Center. The location, situated next to a Goodyear store, is on a dead-end segment of the road. No traffic-related changes will be needed to accommodate the business. The proposed car wash will be a largely automated, brushless drive-thru operation with only a handful of employees. At its September 27 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors agreed to consider adoption of the conditional use request at its October 11 meeting.
