Something is cooking in a busy section of the Route 19 corridor.
The Board of Supervisors on November 3 approved a conditional use application for a two-building development of 20,000 square feet on 5.2 acres at 20563 and 20575 Route 19.
The first building will include a 7,088 square foot restaurant and 3,392 square foot retail space, while the second will consist of 9,621 square feet of retail space. The restaurant space contains an Ichiban Hibachi & Sushi Bar.
As part of the project, a vacant home on the property will be razed. The developer will complete streetscape enhancements along Route 19 and Ogle View Road.
A public hearing on the matter was held at the October 27 Board meeting.
