Built for Business 2016

What Is a "Business Hub"?

The Hub is a central point of contact for businesses. As a clearinghouse for business inquiries and information - we are available to assist entrepreneurs and prospective business owners to identify local business resources, troubleshoot building code-related issues, progress through the land development process, and find the necessary data to make the best business decisions.

Business Is Booming

Nearly 23,700 people are employed in Cranberry Township, generating a very low 3% unemployment rate for the community – significantly below the rates for either Butler County, Pennsylvania, or the United States as a whole.

The Township hosts a diverse industry mix, with a local economy supporting a wide range of employment types and opportunities ranging from heavy industry to service sectors. The majority of workers in the Township are employed in the Professional and Scientific Services sector, which remains a key occupation leader hosting 24% of the jobs in the community. From 2010 to 2014 the sector added more than 850 jobs to the local economy, with projections showing strong future growth.
