8-10 Year Old Basketball League

League Description

This program introduces skills, fundamentals, and rules. Games are played on 10-foot baskets with a full-size basketball court, and scores are kept. Games are officiated by volunteers. Team practices rotate on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with games on Saturdays. Volunteer coaches are needed.

Volunteer Coaches

  • Youth Basketball Coaches: Consider volunteering as a coach or official. We are in search of volunteers to work with our Pee Wee dribblers ages 5-6; 1st and 2nd Grade Dribblers;8-10 Year Old League; and Preteen 11-13 year old Basketball league. Staff will help you get started. 
  • Volunteers must be at least 16 years old with a general knowledge of the game. All volunteers having direct contact with children must obtain clearances prior to the start of their coaching season.
