Fines and Fees

Library Cards

Free membership is offered to residents of Butler County or to the bearer of a current library card from an Access PA member library. Other non-resident memberships are available for $20.00 per year. Replacement library cards cost $2.50.

DVD Rental

There is no charge to borrow our DVDs; however, DVDs that are late accrue charges of $1.00 per item, per day.

Fines on Materials

  • Fines on overdue DVDs are $1.00 per item, per day, for each day that the library is open.
  • Fines on other overdue items are 25 cents per item, per day, for each day that the library is open. No fine shall exceed the replacement cost of the overdue item.

Use of Library Computers

Computer use is free with a valid Butler County Library card. For those without a library card, guest passes are available free of charge. The charge for printing is 10 cents per page for black and white and 50 cents per page for color.
