Book Kits Available

You can create your very own book club with book kits from the Butler Library! It's as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Choose a book kit from the list of available kits.

2. Place the kit on hold in the catalog (you will need your library card number and PIN number) or call us at 724-776-9100.

3. Pick up your book kit at the library and enjoy it with your book club!

First Editions Book Discussion

Meets at 6:30 PM on the first Monday of the month in the South Franklin Station room

December 5 - The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis

January 9 - The Authenticity Project by Clare Pooley

February 6 - Beneath a Scarlet Sky by Mark T. Sullivan

The Next Chapter Book Discussion

This book club will be accepting new members until filled to capacity. This book club meets at 10:00 AM on the third Wednesday of the month in the South Franklin Station room. 

December 21 - A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

January 18 - The Venice Sketchbook by Rhys Bowen

February 15 - (Librarian's choice)

4th Thursday Book Club

Meets at 10:00 AM on the fourth Thursday of each month in the South Franklin room. Please read the book prior to the discussion. Copies of the title are available at the Circulation Desk. 

December 15 - Ragtime by E.L. Doctorow

January 26 - This is Happiness by Naill Williams

February 23 - The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams
